Terms of Use
Effective September 29, 2026
The short version
- This is an agreement between you and Collin Boler, the independent developer of Rizz Keyboard. It is not an agreement with Apple. You must be 18 or older.
- After you agree to AI sharing, the keyboard sends your screenshot or text through our relay server to our AI provider, OpenAI, to write reply suggestions. While it's open and waiting, it sends any new screenshot or image you save or copy automatically. You can turn this off in Settings.
- AI replies can be wrong or offensive. You choose what to send, and you're responsible for it.
- Be decent: no harassment, no pressuring people, no scams, and nothing involving minors. A "no" is a no.
- You get 5 free replies a week. Pro removes the weekly limit and is $6.99/week (3-day free trial for eligible users) or $39.99/year. It renews automatically until you cancel in iOS Settings at least 24 hours before renewal. Apple handles refunds. Short per-minute limits apply to everyone, and replies aren't available when our AI provider is down.
- The app is provided as is, our liability is limited, and New Jersey law applies.
Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") cover the Rizz Keyboard iPhone app, its custom keyboard, Rizz Keyboard Pro subscriptions, and this website (together, the "Service"). They are a contract between you and Collin Boler, an individual developer in New Jersey, USA ("we," "us").
By downloading, installing, or using the app or keyboard, or by buying a subscription, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
For the App Store version of the app, these Terms are its end-user license agreement. They replace Apple's standard license agreement and include the Apple App Store Terms that Apple requires.
Who can use Rizz Keyboard
Rizz Keyboard is about flirting and dating, and its replies can be suggestive. To use it, you must:
- be at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live;
- not be barred from using the Service by any applicable law; and
- meet the export and sanctions conditions in Apple App Store Terms.
How Rizz Keyboard works
Rizz Keyboard adds a custom keyboard with no letter keys. In a chat, you take a screenshot or copy a message, and the keyboard shows short AI-written replies. Tap one to place it in the text box. The keyboard never sends messages for you. You decide whether to hit send.
The keyboard needs Full Access, which iOS requires before a keyboard can use the internet. It also needs full access to your Photos library so it can find the screenshot you just took.
What gets sent to the AI. Replies are written by an AI model from OpenAI. We ask for your permission before anything is sent: during the app's setup or, if you skip that step, in the keyboard. After you agree, the keyboard sends the items below to a relay server we operate on Cloudflare, which forwards them to OpenAI without keeping their contents:
- any new image added to your Photos library while the keyboard is open and waiting, whether it's a screenshot or not (for example, a photo you take or an image you save), and any image copied to your clipboard while it waits. This includes an image from up to about a minute before you opened the keyboard, and one added after you briefly leave the keyboard (say, to edit a screenshot) and come back within a few minutes. These are picked up and sent automatically, without a tap.
- your latest screenshot (or latest image), when you tap "Use last screenshot."
- the image or text on your clipboard, when you tap "Paste text."
- the same screenshot or text again, plus the replies already shown, when you tap "gimme another."
Images are made smaller before sending. The keyboard doesn't log keystrokes. It reads the text already in the text box only so it can replace it with the reply you tap, and it doesn't store or send that text.
You can turn AI sharing off or on at any time in the app's Settings. While it's off, the keyboard sends nothing. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to this data.
Free replies
Without Pro, you get 5 free AI replies per week. Each reply the AI writes uses one, including each "gimme another." Your allowance resets 7 days after your current week began, and the app's Settings shows how many you have left. The in-app practice chat uses pre-written replies and doesn't count. We may change or end the free tier.
Rizz Keyboard Pro subscriptions
Rizz Keyboard Pro removes the weekly limit on AI replies. The short-term rate limits described below still apply. It is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's App Store, in two plans:
| Plan | Price (U.S.) | Free trial | Renews |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rizz Keyboard Pro Weekly | $6.99 per week | 3 days, for eligible users | Every week |
| Rizz Keyboard Pro Yearly | $39.99 per year | None | Every year |
The price in your currency is shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy, and that is the price that applies. Prices may vary by country or region.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. With a free trial, you're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Free trial. The weekly plan includes a 3-day free trial for eligible users. Apple decides eligibility, which usually means you haven't had a Rizz Keyboard Pro trial or introductory offer before. The trial automatically becomes a paid weekly subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Canceling during a trial may end trial access right away. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (weekly or yearly) unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Managing and canceling. After you buy, you can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renew at any time in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. You can also use the App Store app or Settings › Manage subscription in Rizz Keyboard. After you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds. Apple processes all payments. We never see your payment details and can't issue refunds. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides refunds under its own policies.
- Price changes. We may change prices. Apple will notify you in advance of an increase as its rules require and, where required, ask for your consent. You can cancel before a new price applies.
- Switching and restoring. You can switch plans in your subscription settings, and Apple handles timing and any prorated credit. Pro works on any iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID. Pro subscriptions aren't shared through Family Sharing. If it isn't showing, tap "Restore" on the upgrade screen or "Restore purchases" in Settings.
- Rate limits. To keep the Service working and protect it from abuse, everyone, including Pro subscribers, is subject to short-term limits on how many requests can be sent per minute, from one install, from one network connection, and across the Service as a whole. They're set well above normal personal use. If you hit one, the keyboard asks you to try again in a moment. We may also take other reasonable steps to stop automated or abusive use.
- Availability. Replies depend on our relay server and our AI provider. When either is down, overloaded, or limiting our usage, the keyboard can't write replies until it's back. Pro doesn't guarantee that replies are always available.
Your license to use the app
If you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded products you own or control. This license is subject to the Apple App Store Terms. You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lend, or sublicense the app;
- reverse engineer or decompile the app, or try to extract its source code, API keys, or credentials, except where the law expressly allows it;
- get around the free-reply limit, subscription checks, or other security or usage limits; or
- use the app's connection to the AI service for anything other than using Rizz Keyboard as intended.
Using Rizz Keyboard responsibly
Rizz Keyboard is for fun, honest conversations with people who want to talk to you. You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or intimidate anyone, or keep messaging someone who asked you to stop.
- Ignore consent. A "no" is a no. Don't use replies to pressure, guilt, manipulate, or wear someone down. Don't send sexual content to anyone who hasn't clearly said they want it.
- Post hateful content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or a similar trait.
- Involve minors. Don't use the Service with or about anyone under 18 in a romantic or sexual way, and never upload or request sexual content involving minors. We may report this to the authorities.
- Impersonate someone or deceive people in ways that cause harm, such as catfishing, romance scams, fraud, or sextortion. Getting help writing your own messages is fine. Using it to trick people out of money, images, or personal information is not.
- Upload content you don't have the right to share, including intimate images of anyone or other people's passwords or financial details.
- Break the law or help anyone else do so.
- Abuse the Service. This includes reverse engineering it, overloading or disrupting our relay server or the AI service, sending automated requests, scraping, getting around rate limits, or reaching our relay server or the AI service outside the app.
- Break our AI provider's rules, including OpenAI's usage policies.
Your content
"Your content" means the screenshots, images, and text you give the Service. You keep all your rights in it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, transmit, and process your content only as needed to provide the Service to you. This includes sending it to our AI provider and through our relay server. We don't store your screenshots or messages on our own servers, sell them, or use them for ads.
Screenshots often show other people's names, photos, and messages. Only share what you're allowed to share, and respect their privacy. You are responsible for your content and for every message you send, whether or not the AI wrote it.
About AI replies
- Replies may be wrong. The AI can misread a screenshot, mix up who said what, or miss the context.
- Replies may be inappropriate or offensive, or simply wrong for your situation.
- Replies aren't advice. They are not professional, relationship, mental health, medical, or legal advice. If someone is in danger, contact emergency services.
- You decide what to send. Read every reply before you send it.
- Replies aren't unique. Other users may get the same or similar replies. We don't claim ownership of your replies, and you may use them within these Terms, but you get no exclusive rights to them.
Third-party services
The Service relies on Apple (App Store, payments, iOS), OpenAI (the AI model), and Cloudflare (which runs our relay server and this website). Their own terms apply to their services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them, and they may change or become unavailable. We may change AI providers or models. If we do, we'll update the Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for your permission again before sending anything to a new provider.
The keyboard also works inside other apps, such as messaging and dating apps. Some of those apps limit automated or AI-assisted messaging, and you're responsible for following their terms.
Our intellectual property
The app, the keyboard, this website, and their design, code, text, name, and logo (apart from your content and third-party material) belong to Collin Boler or his licensors. These Terms give you no rights to them beyond the license above. Apple, iPhone, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. OpenAI is a trademark of OpenAI.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, with no obligation to you.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and accuracy.
We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that replies will be accurate or appropriate, or that you'll get any particular result, such as a reply or a date. Replies aren't available when our relay server or our AI provider is down or limiting our usage.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we (Collin Boler) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. We are also not liable for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or relationships relating to the Service or these Terms, even if told such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Rizz Keyboard Pro in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$50.
None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for our fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
Indemnification
To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Collin Boler from third-party claims and related losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees). This applies to claims arising from your content, the messages you send, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or anyone's rights. We'll tell you about any such claim, and we may choose to control its defense.
Suspension and termination
You can stop anytime by removing the keyboard in iOS Settings and deleting the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription (see Rizz Keyboard Pro subscriptions).
We may suspend, limit, or end your access, including by blocking requests to the AI service, if you break these Terms or if it's needed to comply with the law or protect people or the Service. We may also stop offering the Service. If we do, we'll try to give notice in the app or on this website, and you can ask Apple for a refund under its policies.
Sections that by their nature should survive will survive the end of these Terms. These include Your content, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, and Governing law.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may add, change, or remove features, including the free limit, what Pro includes, and the AI model or provider. We may also update these Terms. If we do, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date. For significant changes, we'll give reasonable notice first, in the app or on this page. Changes don't apply to earlier disputes or change the price of a period you've already paid for. We may add to or improve Pro at any time, but we won't reduce what Pro includes during a subscription period you've already paid for. If something outside our control, such as an outage or shutdown at our AI provider, stops Pro from working as described, you can ask Apple for a refund under its policies. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and both sides consent to those courts' jurisdiction and venue. There is no arbitration requirement. Before filing a claim, please email collinboler@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
New Jersey residents: The Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, and Indemnification sections apply to you, but they don't limit:

- our liability for death or bodily injury caused by our negligence; or
- any right or remedy you have under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act or any other New Jersey law that can't be waived by contract.

Outside the United States: These Terms don't take away mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Apple App Store Terms
If you got Rizz Keyboard from Apple's App Store, the following terms also apply. If they conflict with anything else in these Terms, this section controls. Here, "the app" means Rizz Keyboard, including its keyboard extension.
- Acknowledgement. These Terms are concluded between you and Collin Boler only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Collin Boler, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. These Terms don't set usage rules that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Volume Content Terms. If they did, Apple's terms would control.
- Scope of license. Your license to use the app is a non-transferable license to use it on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app may also be accessed, acquired, and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing, volume purchasing, or Legacy Contacts.
- Maintenance and support. Collin Boler is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app, as described in these Terms or as required by law. Apple has no obligation at all to provide any maintenance or support services for the app. For support, visit rizzkeyboard.com/support or email collinboler@gmail.com.
- Warranty. Collin Boler is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they have not been effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses caused by a failure to conform to any warranty are Collin Boler's sole responsibility.
- Product claims. Collin Boler, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property rights. If a third party claims that the app, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Collin Boler, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a region that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" region; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer name and address. Please direct any questions, complaints, or claims about the app to: Collin Boler, 3 Shepherd Lane, Madison, NJ 07940, USA. Phone: (973) 533-8028. Email: collinboler@gmail.com. Website: rizzkeyboard.com.
- Third-party terms of agreement. When using the app, you must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement. Examples include your wireless data service agreement and the terms of any messaging, dating, or social app you use the keyboard in.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
General terms
These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any Apple terms that apply to your purchases are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be limited only as much as needed, and the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a term, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them to someone who takes over the app. We aren't responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as outages at Apple, OpenAI, or Cloudflare. The short version at the top is for convenience only, and the full text controls.
